About St Christophers
About This Shop
At St Christopher’s Hospice, our vision is of a world in which all dying people and those close to them have access to equitable care and support, whenever and wherever they need it.
At your home or local hospice, our expert care is free for everyone. We recognise that person is unique and pride ourselves on providing the best individually centered care and support, led by you. We always ask ‘what matters to you’ and tailor our care to meet social, emotional, and spiritual needs, as well as manage physical symptoms.
Our goal is to help people live well until they die and support those affected by the loss of a loved one. Every year we provide care and support for over 7,500 people across southeast London, both at home and in the hospice. No matter who you are or where you are, we are here to support you to choose how you live your every day, to the last.
Together, we help you and those close to you, experience positive moments; free from pain or fear wherever possible. With empathy and care, we create space for honest conversations about death, dying, and grief.
Through our Centre for Awareness and Response to End of Life (CARE), we’re changing palliative care for the better, raising standards through research, education, and collaborative partnerships, across the UK and around the world.
As a registered charity we need to raise £17 million every year to continue to care for people when it matters most. Without the support of our local communities, this wouldn’t be possible. Thank you from us all for your support.
