About South Bucks Hospice
About This Shop
The South Bucks Hospice is dedicated to improving the quality of life for local people with life-limiting illnesses through our services at our Day Therapy Hospice based at Pusey House and through our Lymphoedema Clinic, one of only a few in Southern England.
Pusey House in High Wycombe aims to offer people with advanced cancer or life limiting-illness the highest quality of physical, psychological, and social care in an environment which reflects their special needs. The Centre also provides support for carers and bereavement services. Pusey House has seventeen years of experience in caring for people with a terminal illness. We recognise that some patients are not bed-bound and the treatment they need can be controlled by themselves or their carers’.
The South Bucks Hospice Lymphoedema Clinic was opened in January 1997 in response to a need in the community for such a service. The clinic is open Monday to Friday, between 8.30 am to 4.30 pm. It presently has over 320 patients registered with the service.
Services also available at Pusey House include Aromatherapy Massage, Reflexology, Reiki, Relaxation classes, Yoga, Physiotherapy, Counselling, Art Group, Holistic Massage, Acupuncture, Indian Head Massage as well as a recently introduced 24/7 online support forum.
All services are available to patients, carers, and the bereaved. Qualified nurses are also available each day for advice and support. Patients can attend for the day or as an outpatient. We also offer advice and support over the telephone. Pusey House is open Monday-Friday 9-5 pm.
We currently run four Charity Shops and one Warehouse
