About Alabare
About This Shop
For over 30 years Alabaré has been helping people who are homeless or vulnerable.
We offer safe accommodation and a pathway of support to help those in our care move on to bright futures, homes, and minds.
Today we are a national charity with over 70 homes and services across the south of England and Wales. Our support is tailored to the needs of each person and includes dedicated help for young people, those leaving the care system, young parents and their babies, Armed Forces veterans and those struggling with their mental wellbeing. Alongside our supported accommodation we offer training and activities to help our clients to live the fulfilling life they choose.
In Wiltshire, we also provide support and homes for adults with a learning disability
to help them live independently and we operate a dedicated mental health support service offering telephone support and a drop-in centre.
As a charity, we rely on fundraising activities to keep these services going, and our Charity Shops are a vital source of income. Our shops provide a range of quality goods including white goods and furniture and are run by a team of friendly staff and volunteers. If you can spare a few hours a week and would like to volunteer in one of our shops or services, please get in touch! Call on 01722 322882 or email – enquiries@alabare.co.uk
