Shelter launches new boutique charity shop in Wimbledon Village
Housing charity Shelter has chosen to open its latest charity shop in Wimbledon Village, and the new ‘Boutique by Shelter’ store will be open for business seven days a week.
Designed by Wayne Hemingway and his team – the Wimbledon Village boutique charity shop – sells designer, high-end high street and vintage one-off finds at fabulous prices.
With homelessness on the rise across London, sales from the shop will help Shelter defend the right to decent housing across the capital and further afield.
The boutique will be at the heart of the community, offering a friendly welcome and plenty of opportunities to volunteer. Have an eye for fashion? A creative flair? Fancy doing something valuable with your spare time – all while picking up new skills and getting retail experience? When the shop is open, you can pop in and say hello. Just a few hours spent volunteering in this shop can make a huge difference.
