About St Joseph's Hospice
About This Shop
Founded in 1905 by the Religious Sisters of Charity, St Joseph’s Hospice is today one of the oldest and largest hospices in the UK.
We provide specialist and compassionate care to people in East and North East London affected by life-limiting illness and support their families and carers. We have a holistic approach to care and work with patients to ensure they live the best quality of life possible, to the very end.
We support more than 6,000 people each year who are affected by a life-limiting illness such as cancer, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, chronic lung disease, or heart failure. Our services are FREE of charge and include;
- Inpatients
- Day Hospice
- Community Palliative Care
- Complementary & Psychological Therapies
- Family Counselling & Bereavement Support
- Spiritual Care
- Social and creative activities
Our Shops
St Joseph’s Hospice currently has 2 shops in Hackney. These shops raise vital funds for the hospice and we hope to open shops in our other boroughs in the near future.
