About This Shop
The Shakespeare Hospice, in Stratford-upon-Avon, provides specialist care and support to patients and their families affected by life-limiting illnesses.
Through our Day Hospice, Family Support Service and Hospice at Home, we offer compassionate care, information, and choice to people going through some of the most challenging times of their life. Our services help people in our community to improve their quality of life.
Our shops help to fund this work. We have 3 traditional charity shops in Stratford, Henley in Arden and Alcester which stock a wide range of clothing, books, bric a brac and accessories. Our bookshop in Stratford has a music department stocking vinyl, CDs, and printed music. We have a warehouse-style shop at Warwickshire County Council recycling centre at Bishopton just outside the town which is an Aladdin’s cave of stock including furniture, electrical, bric a brac, toys, and much more. Our newest shop is a furniture store at Avenue Farm in Stratford, which stocks larger items of furniture and homewares.
Wonderful volunteers help the managers to run our shops and we rely on the generosity of our supporters for quality donations.
